golf évreux

The 18 hole Évreux golf course is 2km from the hotel. Its layout makes for enjoyable fairways, following the contours of the land. The greens are large and varied, and there are multiple tee-off times.

Musée d'évreux

The “Promenade des Berges de l’Iton” honours the memory of Charles II, king of Navarre and count of Evreux (1332-1387) and that of Robert de Flocques, who liberated the town in 1441. The ramparts no longer exist, but this is still a pleasant walk leading to the “Tour de l’Horloge” (clock tower) and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Some of the nearby villages and châteaus, such as Giverny (where Monet lived), Château du Champs de Bataille and Château de Beaumesnil are well worth visiting.
